Extraction Process

  • The oil is extracted by mechanically pressing seeds, nuts, or fruits at a low temperature (typically below 49°C or 120°F) using a wooden or mechanical press. This method, known as cold pressing, ensures that the oils retain their natural nutrients, flavor, and aroma.
  • The process is slow and gentle, which helps maintain the integrity of the oil and prevents the breakdown of heat-sensitive compounds such as antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids.
